Location Overview

Furnace Town Historic Site is a collection of historic nineteenth-century buildings and artisans’ studios surrounding the Nassawango Iron Furnace. They take the lead in preserving, restoring and interpreting the site and its buildings for learning about history, art, and nature. In addition, they share the lore and legacy of life in the Pocomoke Forest.
